Moonlight Room opening

Joss McKinley’s show ‘The Moonlight Rooms’ opened last Wednesday causing quite a buzz. Many of his Central Saint Martin’s and London College of Communication alumni friends attended, and Joss had his guests sipping black ale in the spirit of the show. There was much admiration for the taxidermy black swan and crows with shiny gold metal bills. From the street, the show draws attention through a funeral-style window installation featuring the artist’s name in one-foot high floral letters made with delicate massed chrysanthemums and ribbon trim. I am curious how the flowers will hold up - or rather decay - for the six-week duration of the show, whatever happens will be documented here.
