The Golden Lane Gardening Group presents a talk on greening the Estate with Steve Terry and Tim Waterman, lecturers in Landscape Architecture and Garden Design at the Writtle School of Design on Monday 1st June 2009, 7:30pm at Golden Lane Community Centre.
There are more than 500 balconies on Golden Lane Estate designed in different forms and mind. A brilliant idea in the Cullum Welch House demonstrates a beautiful lintel spanned along the large window and extended in depth with planter pot holes cleverly integrated in the body, let the open air, flower scent and a cup of tea uplift the state of mind.
This event will be a great opportunity to consider how to make the most of more of them.
RSVP Required.
