Both founders are professional designer/architect and residents of the Golden Lane Estate.
Yanki Lee
Lee received a PhD from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in Design Participation and Urban Renewal in 2007. Prior to that she completed a Masters degree in Architecture (MArch) at the Royal College of Art, where she currently works as a Research Fellow in the Helen Hamlyn Centre specialising Inclusive Design and co-design, in particular interest for older and disabled people. Her role at EXHIBIT is to develop the community face (Super Estate Foundation) of the organisation through developing creative initiatives and programme focus on local and community engagement.
Alan Lam
Lam received his Bachelor and Master Degree in Architecture at the Hong Kong University, and has over 15 years of professional experience in the architectural design industry specialising in architectural lighting design, in which he has developed extensive knowledge in lighting masterplans for urban space, interiors, galleries and exhibitions. Over years he has worked on international projects with leading architects and cultural organisations such as Oscar Nimeyer, Kohn Paterson Fox, Zaha Hadid, Jamie Fobert, Serpentine Gallery London, Centre for Contemporary Culture Moscow, Today Art Museum & National Art Museum of China in Beijing, to name but a few. His role at EXHIBIT is to develop the public and professional face (EXHIBIT C.I.C.) of the organisation through executing a structured programme of artist/designer residencies, exhibition and lighting design, and associated supporting activities.
