As the first White Walls Project curated by EXHIBIT Gallery, NO WAY is pleased to present PLAN, a solo exhibition by British artist, Leonie Lachlan. Fascinated by the urban environment and the psychology of space, Leonie Lachlan’s work delicately balances different techniques; printmaking, etching, drawing and building, approaching her work from a perspective that incorporates fine art and architectural methods.

Presenting works from her large-scale ‘The Envisageable Cities’ series together for the first time, alongside new works created exclusively for the exhibition, Leonie’s beguiling, intricate and fastidiously detailed works on paper continue to dissect and examine the constructed world, and how it shapes us.

On the afternoon of Saturday 21 July the public are invited to attend a free drawing class on the estate led by the artist. Starting from EXHIBIT Gallery at 1.30pm, Leonie with guide and encourage her guests to pick a perspective on the estate and translate this to paper. Between 2.30 – 3 guests can take a break and enjoy EXHIBIT’S bespoke coffee from the ‘Coming Soon’ coffee counter. At 3pm everyone is invited to the new Ralph Perrin Club on the estate to reflect, discuss and continue sketching. Please contact EXHIBIT directly for bookings. All ages and abilities welcome.

Leonie Lachlan graduated in Fine Art from Newcastle University in 2008. She then completed The Drawing Year at the prestigious Princes Drawing School, London. Her work has appeared twice in Art Review, and has been awarded the Brigit Skiold Prize for Excellence at the Whitechapel Gallery’s annual London Art Book Fair.
